Not many subjects in our world are as interesting and diverse as human beings, don’t you think? This is my favorite subject. It’s a full spectrum, from carefully composed staged shots made during a photo session to chance characters encountered on the street. I create both finely developed portraits and expressive, emotional artworks. Other themes include portraits in historical costumes and figures in motion, from ballerinas to people simply walking the streets. I focus on the play of light and the emotions of the characters.
